Pomeranian Erik Male black Pomeranian with Alopecia X Pomeranian Erik - a show dog and champion, at age 4 years. Erik had a gorgeous, huge puppy coat that did not transition into an adult coat. The coat became "dead looking", reddish/grayish and matted very easily. It just slowly fell out by the time he was 14 months old. Erik was neutered and there was no change in the coat. He has no other health or behavioral problems. He is low thyroid and is on supplementation, but there has been no change in his coat. Thank you to Erik's breeder for the information and the photo!
